When will The Shular Institute Open?
Shular Institute is scheduled to open its doors in January of 2023. Our official January start date will be announced in the upcoming weeks so get prepared and follow us on social media or get on our email list to get the information first.
How Do You Enroll In The Institute, what is the Admissions Process?
Please fill out the information form on the website. and an academic representative will contact you within 48 hours.
- High school transcript (current high school seniors may submit an in-progress transcript)
- GED/HSED transcript
- At least 18 years of age
- A letter of recommendation.
- Pay an application Fee
- Take a technical proficiency exam to test into one of the programs.
All high school and/or college transcripts are recommended to be submitted for Credit for Prior Learning evaluation.
Additional Notes
- Class capacity is limited and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Course prerequisites differ from admission requirements; admission into a program does not guarantee eligibility to enroll in courses or success in the program. Refer to the program curriculum for details.
Enrollment will open in October for the January 2023 start
How Much Will It Cost To Attend?
At this time pricing will range from 10k-17k depending on the program (please reference the catalog for more details).
The Shular Institute will not offer Title IV funding for the first two years.
Financial aid will be supplied through private lenders, grants, scholarships, and donations from our Bwana foundation.
In-school payment options will available as well.
What type of degrees will the Institute offer?
The Shular Institute will offer culinary certificates. Just think of our Institute as an apprenticeship program rather than a traditional college.
Will Shular Institute be a Non-Profit or For-Profit Institute ?
The SHULAR Institute is a community-based private for-profit hospitality institute developed to redefine the purpose of food service and business management through our modern global curriculum and diverse local Nano sustainable culture.
Although we are a for-profit institute we approach education with the highest level of integrity, always putting the student first.
Where will Shular Institute be Located?
Our first institute will open in Tucker, Georgia inside our award-winning restaurant and education facility Farmed kitchen. and Bar.
